Method
  1. 1 Finely chop the onion 2 Melt the oil or butter in a fry pan over medium heat 3 Add the onions, cook for 5 minutes, stirring. 4 Remove from stove and allow to cool 5 Place the cream cheese in a bowl and microwave on high for 20 to 30 seconds, or until soft enough to cream with a spoon (not melted) 6 Add the yoghurt or sour cream and pepper and salt, mix until lump free 7 Add the onions. Mix until just combined. Refrigerate until required 8 Serve on a Low Carb Co crackers with smoked salmon and fresh dill

  1. 1 Place onion into the mixer, chop 3 seconds / speed 5 / mc on 2 Scrape down, add oil or butter, cook 2 minutes / 115C / speed 1 / mc off 3 Add remaining ingredients, blend 20 seconds / speed 4 / mc on 4 Scrape down and blend 10 seconds / speed 3 / mc on 5 Serve on a Low Carb Co crackers with smoked salmon and fresh dill
